Re: Newsletter – 03 June 2008:
A couple of months have elapsed since our last newsletter, but in truth there has not been a great deal to report since the granting of the ROD in February. The difficult task facing the project recently was to ensure that the various municipal departments and approval committees timeously completed their internal processes in order that our projected timelines remained unaffected. Once again, good fortune seems to be following Riverspray as the final approval for the township, (therefore the official authorization to begin construction), was granted on Friday 30th May. This means the infrastructure contractors will be on site in the first week of June 2008, a month earlier than we had originally anticipated (see previous newsletter) which is fantastic news!
Vuma Construction won the tender for the installation of the infrastructure services and anticipate completion thereof towards the end of February 2009. We expect the building contractors to be on site no later than August this year and transfer of the respective Sectional Title phases and the Plot and Plan units will be communicated once construction is underway.
Following on from the success of the Apartment and Duplex Plot & Plan sales, the first launch of single residential plots was embarked upon in mid March with over 80% of the erven already sold. This is a phenomenal achievement considering the current negativity surrounding SA and world economy in general and serves once again to reinforce the inherent value and uniqueness of Riverspray Lifestyle Estate.
On an important note, the Estate Manager for Riverspray was recently appointed. His involvement with everything that transpires on site from now on means he will have an in-depth knowledge of the estate, its rules, its buildings and amenities. This is a fundamental factor in ensuring that all standards on Riverspray are maintained which naturally safeguards your investment.
